  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I photograph all things wing-ed. Even if those wings spin around really fast.

Landscapes, mostly...especially mountains. (It helps that I live right on the border of the Cascades and the Sierra Nevada!!)

I also like to take family pictures, and I've sort of become our church photographer, as well. I can't show up to a baptism or pot-luck without my camera without doing some explaining!

I've got some pix you might like from a flight I took to plant fingerling trout in alpine lakes in California. We flew a twin-engine Beechcraft low and slow...but in air planting 'slow' does not mean 'boring'. Most of the time the pilot is kiilling the stall warning buzzer. I've got a cool shot looking forward through the cockpit window and you can see the 45 degree bank we were in pretty well. I've also got close-ups of treetops right off the port wing!! Lotsa times you're flying up canyon in your approach, so it looks like your going to smack right into the cliff wall until the pilot dumps the load and horses the plane up and around and kinda spirals up out of the canyon.

Now if I could just figure out how to get them available to y'all...I've got 'em on a CD and don't really have anyplace to store 'em on-line.
