  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I am currently a Criminology major. I was a journalism major, decided it wasn't for me. I changed to architecture, which was my childhood dream... designing houses... decided I hated math too much. I then changed it to Criminology and decided I didn't like that... (based off of one class). Then I thought of becoming an English major, but decided I didn't want to do that. I then changed it back to Criminology, but before I took another class in it, I thought I would like to be a forensic scientist... I watch a lot of forensic files.. then I realized I hated science and probably wouldn't enjoy actually doing the work, so I changed it to political science after taking my gen ed political science class. After I transferred to another college, i realized I love politics, but I didn't know what I wanted to do with it, and I hated taking the classes. I changed it back to Criminology, but when my advisor told me I might be better suited as a Social Work major, I changed it to social work. I took a couple classes in that and I realized that really isn't what I wanted to do, so I changed it back to Criminology. I think I am missing a couple in there, because I switched 11 times, but I don't know... :D

I am sticking with Criminology this time, because I work in juvenile corrections right now and enjoy it for the most part. I have an idea of what I want to do when I am done with college, so I know this is what I will be getting my degree in.

Right now I"m a Biochem major, but I'm thinking that I'll add a Philosophy minor. I'm only in my first quarter though, so nothing's set in stone :p

I'm also in the Pre-Med track, which I'm pretty sure I'm going to drop out of because I don't think I want to be a doctor...
