Last night I had a nightmarish, sorta dream. It was all soooo real, and I thought it was real, and I was so miserable. Here it is...

I was in the woods by a busy road relaxing by a log, chilling out bya know? Just listening to the birds chirp and the wind blow, when all of a sudden, I fell asleep (Yeah, I fell asleep even in my dream). When I woke up, I walked back to the road, there were an endless amount of empty cars, pulled over on the side of the road. I saw a few people stumbling around in confusion, but then I realized that the rapture happened and I missed it! I started bawling my eyes out, and I jumped up upon one of the cars and told everyone what was happening, none of them believed me. So I ran home, and everyone at my house was gone, when all of a sudden my uncle (who's not a very religious man) walked in and told me his kids and wife were gone. And then we hugged and cried. And I remember in my dream I kept saying, "I never got baptised, I never got baptised".

Now that I'm awake I feel like it's GOG giving me a sign that the rapture is going to be extremely soon, and that I need to get my act together and start preparing spiritually. Any thoughts?

Hello,
That is worry. Not God (well probably not) even though in the Bible it says that people shall recieve visons and dreams in the times doesn't mean you received one of these. That was more than likely your old familar fear coming back. I have those dreams alot, I am very obsessed with the end and so I read alot about it and I dream that I am left behind. But if you believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior and asked Him to cleanse you of your sin He is living in you... you are His! And nothing... CAN TAKE YOU AWAY FROM THAT!!!! Dont worry... trust...

In Him,
Caitlyn

Getting baptized and dedicating one's life to God is always the thing to do, and God may be telling you in dream to get right with Him. The story of the ten wise and unwise virgins in Jesus parable tells us to be full of the oil of the Holy Spirit and be ready for the marriage feast of the lamb - Jesus, who is the groom and His Church, the bride.
There are differeing opinions about the when the rapture occurs, but if it came tomorrow and you were ready to go, then there would be none of the begging to get in or sorrow that the ten unwise virgins displayed upon finding themselves not prepared for the groom's arrival.

Cool dream, I've had a few like that.
There was this one where I finally made it to heaven, but it was this musty old hall with metal fold out chairs in rows and I'm sitting in one of them.
There's no one else there and and I was told ,earlier, to wait For Jesus to come and see me.
Anyway, in walks this guy in a crumply bathrobe, hair all messy, bath slippers on and he's carrying a clipboard.

He motions me to come to him and he's yawning and not at all enthusiastic about me at all.
So, he's looking through his list on the clipboard for my name.
Finally finds it, looks at me and says, " Oh another one...go through that door"
He turns and trudges off muttering about something.

That was Jesus. I woke up laughing about that dream.
I had that one because i was thinking a lot about what it would be like in heaven and what it will be like when I finally meet Him.

God has a cool sense of humor.
Your dream could be a dream from God about the end times and it could also be a visual representation of your fears of not making it or you've been thinking about the end times a lot. It could also be you telling yourself, hey pick it up a notch buddy.

I like those kind of dreams.

You don't have to be babtised to get into heaven.
Dreams that make you fearful, or feel condemned are not from God
Instead it's either the flesh or the devil.

If you feeel God calling you to be babtised, do. But there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Stand against anything that causes you to fear. You have the authority in Christ. Satan used scriptures to tempt Jesus in the desert. He can do the same with us. Ask God for discerment if you don't have it. Don't give Satan credit. Make sure a dream is from God before you start worrying about it. Worry and fear are not from God. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everthing by prayer and petition with thanksgiving; present your requests to God and the peace that transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." In the Bible when people had dreams which they thought were from God they prayed and sometimes prayed and fasted for the interpretation form God. You should do likewise rather than speculating.

Good advice.

Oh, and get baptized too. ;)
