How do you know that this wasn’t just the nit pickers writing stuff down . There is historical evidence for that happening. Anyone who studies the history of the Bible can tell you that it’s been edited over the centuries.
That’s one of the reasons why I don’t always accept the-Bible-sez as a valid argument. I’m inclined to look at the totality of the behavior
Have you looked into the scientific side of the Biblical diet?
not really , I’m inclined to think that predators wouldn’t taste good but I know that’s not always true either. I’m also not much for fad diets . I’d try anything edible ( except canned peas ugh) and non toxic ( I ain’t gonna try fugu and don’t care if it’s good)The concept of clean/unclean animals is woven throughout Scripture from Genesis to Revelation, so not likely that all accounts of it are edits...there would be to great a scar on the context.

I suppose if you start with the assumption that the 'unclean' list must be unhealthy, you need to think of ways to support that assumption ¯\_(ツ)_/¯There must be something to the identifiers that the Creator revealed. He gave this diet, as the Creator of human bodies, because He knows what is healthiest for them.
It could be that the unclean animals aren't necessarily poisonous to the human body, but that they are not the optimal source for necessary nutrients.

A rational approach would be to test the assumption first.
So he did chemical tests to determine whether or not the Potential food was safe to eat? I didn’t watch as I’ve learned over the years that a lot of creationists are pretty ignorant of science and I’m getting a lower tolerance for bs as I get older
some creationists have legitimate science degrees and then they’ll turn around and still lie about scienceHmmmm...that's unfortunate. He's a zoologist, so he explains why the animals might be considered clean/unclean according to their anatomy and eating habits.
You should give the vid. at least 15 minutes. Why would you discount someone with these credentials:
"Veith was professor of the zoology department at the University of Cape Town and taught in the medical bioscience department. During this time, the department was awarded a Royal Society London grant for zoological research.[1]"

No they’re lying
So if the health tests for unclean foods have been done, why were you asking about those birds earlier? This is what this:
Is all about!
Why not just give the relevant points from the video, or point us to the relevant moments in the video - an hour about unclean animals isn't that enticing...Hmmmm...that's unfortunate. so how can you tell that they’re lying or not if you’re ignorant on the subject? You see I’ve got a science degree so I’m not in the same position and I CAN determine whether or not a creationist is telling the truth about most natural phenomena .I've heard this before, but never got into science that much to research both sides for myself. It's not really a salvific issue for me, but I think it can effect eschatological views, and such.
