recently, i realised how disrespectful is it of guys to lust after women, i realised that they are humans with feelings too...but that brings me to another question...and strange that i have never seen anyone ask this question before...

what is it that porn star and prostitude wants? they are making men lusting after them...it is like they are inviting all these things.
they want money? do they want money so badly that they can give up their morals, dignity, pride, etc ( i can list on forever ) ...strange...what exactly do they want...and how can the society help them from their mistakes?

It is not disrespectful to "lust after women". Women are beautiful. Humans have sexual desires. That is all perfectly normal. A man can lust after a woman, but still recognize that she is an equal human being, and treat her with all due respect.

Money, otherwise they'd do it for free. How can society help? Empower them. Make sure they have equal education to males, raise them to expect to have equal earning power, create legislation to make sure they have equal earning power. Make sure that jobs traditionally filled by women are given status, and more money. In other words, make women less dependant on men.

The most important thing to any human is to feel equal as one another .

I agree that lust is wrong. It objectifies the man/woman/boy/girl who is the subject of your lust. In addition, when lust is given full reign in a person's life, there is no room for the purer side, like Godly thoughts. As for porn stars and prostitutes, I believe that they are deceived and driven by the money and what they believe is freedom to behave as they wish. That is sad. Some Christians have them as their mission - to bring them out of those lives and give them true freedom!

he can, but many men omit the respect bit and the equality bit - i agree with you thats fine. same with some women too - respect is whats needed nowadays and it is severly lacking.

i also agree that some women do porn for the shear power of it, wanting men to lust after her - it is degrading to men and puts her on a pedastal. but others do it because they are poor and need money.

(i dont agree with porn if you are in a relationship, but it's fine if your not, personally i wouldnt - but who asked me )

When we talk of people who are porn stars, or prostitutes, we must not judge them. they commit sin just like the rest of us, although they have it as a job.
I think the reasons that someone would let themselves be "used" like that are as many as there are people doing it. And i agree that lust is wrong, but creating lust is just as wrong. you then lead other into temptation.. but there is forgiveness for all sins in Jesus!

I am not calling for equality. However, at least in U.S., many professions are almost exclusively filled by females. These professions often have very low pay relative to traditionally male professions that require a comparable level of education/skill.

However, the whole point is to modify the mindset amongst some that males are somehow more valuable than females and worthy of more respect.

And I'm sure that some men do house sit & are used as a sex object. I, unfortunately, do not fall into that category.

I don't think there is a universal answer either. As far as men lusting after women that is perfectly natural, and I say, thank God we women can not see their thoughts, and I would not say that the majority of men are as bad as it seems. I am a woman, so I can only speculate, but probbly the extent is seeing some beautiful woman and imagining her being his 'slave' for a day or soemthing, LOL, really, I don't understand that either, and sometimes it does enrage me. I just wish more men would realize that beauty is inside, and especially if they are married, I think that they should look at their own wife with that kind of lust, knowing that she will make all his dreams come true if he'll only treat her right.

Second, porn stars, the women, well, in my opinion, it's the power! These women are (I assume) very beautiful, in a 'fleshy' kind of way, and men are like puddy in their hands, it's definately got to be the power, also, they equate that to love, because (imo) that is the only kind of love they can know, what man (besides a porn star) would be able to tolerate that kind of relationship, it would cause contempt for the woman, she would say see ya' because of her 'false' pride (in her looks) and probbly wind up 'thinking' she has all that life could offer, and was the luckiest woman alive, but her focus has become all messed up, since she has never been truly, and purely loved. Ofcourse, I can only speculate, lol

To me it is truly sad, because these women have no idea how the 'rest' of the world truly views them, even the part of the world that will contribute to their success.


Think about it, if you are educated MOST prostitutes are controlled by pimps (unless they get lucky) and they hate what they do, it becomes like blowing your nose, they somehow disassociate themselves from the event to survive, because most of them have been on their own from young ages, and that is the only way they can make a living, or survie I should say, and then they become addicted to drugs and get trapped unless they are fortunate enough to meet soemone who CARES for them and helps them, or have family (which most of them probbly don't or they wouldn't be there! I could be wrong though)

So, there is my .o2 and the main thing to remember is not to judge unless we have walked the shoes of the one we judge, so let's try to not hate others who do things we hate, as someone else said, but to understand them first, we put labels on these things, but are they true, or does intent and motive and chance also play a role, I think so.

You treat her right by making her the Queen, though a porn star may occupy space in your head at times, she must never know that, and at times you are obligated to say things to her that unfortunately are not honest, like not telling her she's fat, and remember that she is DEPENDANT on you for her sex appeal, so sometimes just throw out comments like 'you are the best looking woman in the world honey" and even if she knows your lying, she'll want to return the favor.
