heh....I think you misunderstood him. I think what Job_38 was getting at is, just because 'Allah' of the Quran was also the God of Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, other biblical prophets and even (according to you) of Jesus, does not make Him the same God we Christians believe in.
Your idea of a God is radically different. Would you say your God would come down and live a lowly life as a human ? Or, that your God would suffer and die ? If your answer is yes, then we do worship the same God. But Muslims in general would never accept that God came down as a human, or that he DIED for our sakes.
If you read the different threads devoted to Islam you will find that many Christians believe that Allah is the Christian God and many do not.Originally posted by Muslimah
so cause we don't believe that Allah came down as a human and then died
that means we worship some made up dude that was invented in the Quran?
Is that what ur saying?

Hello Muslimah .
I asked this question to you on another thread , but just in case you didn't see it , I would like to ask it again here .
When a male muslim dies and goes to heaven , he can have up to 7 wives if he wishes , what does a muslim woman recieve when she dies and goes to heaven ?

The Catholic Church states that Allah and the Christian God are the same.

Hmmm. So then Catholic Christians and those that beleive in Allah share the sacraments together I take it. Interesting concept.
