What do Christians think of Muhammad?

And Muslims worship the Quran, not Allah.

So 5 times a day , muslims face their Quran and pray to their Qurans?
They go all the way to Mecca on Hajj to worship the Quran?
Which they have in their house?

heh....I think you misunderstood him.  I think what Job_38 was getting at is, just because 'Allah' of the Quran was also the God of Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, other biblical prophets and even (according to you) of Jesus, does not make Him the same God we Christians believe in.

Your idea of a God is radically different. Would you say your God would come down and live a lowly life as a human ? Or, that your God would suffer and die ? If your answer is yes, then we do worship the same God. But Muslims in general would never accept that God came down as a human, or that he DIED for our sakes.

If you read the different threads devoted to Islam you will find that many Christians believe that Allah is the Christian God and many do not.
The Catholic Church states that Allah and the Christian God are the same.

Hello Muslimah .
I asked this question to you on another thread , but just in case you didn't see it , I would like to ask it again here .
When a male muslim dies and goes to heaven , he can have up to 7 wives if he wishes , what does a muslim woman recieve when she dies and goes to heaven ?

I think Muhammed had all the motivation if he wished to invent the religion. At least 10 wives, (I heard at least one was his own kid, not that I believe it), and followers: money.

Christ had the motivation of never sinning, telling the truth and dying for it. The apostles' had the motivation of God supporting them, though 11 died martyrs. They were willing to be killed for this belief, rejected by their own, and be joyful even in prison.

What im getting at is, the nature of 'your' God is essentially different from the nature of the God we believe in.... So how can they be the same God ?? If it were the same God, you would also believe He came down as a human...
All we share is some common history; the teachings and beliefs later on are quite different!

Hmmm. So then Catholic Christians and those that beleive in Allah share the sacraments together I take it. Interesting concept.

"The Catholic Church states that Allah and the Christian God are the same."

I have heard you say this in other threads. What's your source? I have heard Catholics rebuke this statement to me when talking to them personnally. I find it hard to believe Cathloic churches would believe such a thing since it's obvious Allah and our God are not the same. It's like calling a fish a bird, it's just plain silly and not so.

Oh my I just saw that. Please tell me that picture is a hoax. It saddens me greatly. I'm not Cathloic but to see someone with that power do such a thing and is considered infalliable with his teachings makes me sick. Did Abraham come down from the mountain and kiss the golden calf? No, just the opposite.
