I see 10 different forms of the word, which one are you claiming refers to a spirit that takes on other forms ?

It's not derailing

You made a claim that the " watchers " in the Book of Daniel are the " apkallu ", implying they are some sort of spirit creature AKA an " angel ", the topic of the thread

ap and kallu are two separate words, do you know what " ap " is ?

"Dave", the amount of material that is going to have to be brought up here is going to be a derail. We discussed this in one of your threads in the Controversial Christian Theology section, back when you called yourself FrankDux. You left after quoting wiki which went against the very claim you make here. If you want to debate it rejoin your prior thread where you will find that rebuttal still standing.

I've read somewhere that each angel is likely its own "species", so the appearance of one could be drastically different than that of another. I doubt they look like anything a band uses in their videos or Hallmark uses in their cards.

No one knows for sure, but from the Bible, they are terrifying creatures to carry out the commands of God. Anyone who interacted with an angel in the Bible fell down on their face to the ground in great fear. You don't mess around with angels. Angels are spiritual, and we are physical, so we have no ability to see them, unless God wills it.

We do know that they are not cute little babies with wings, that is absurd.

wWell I hope someone will comment on this situation that happened to me in the baths in the town of Bath in England .My cousin whom I was visiting lived in the area
and when we arrived at the Roman baths she said she did not want to go again ,so I was left to visit myself .It truly is an amazing place ,spoiled I think by all those weird black devices eople hold in order to listen to a Strange voice . Being me, I left it and went to look around just with my God given eyes ,and as a result bumped o an American couple who were also without 'the thing' .
We started chatting , she was very friendly and he was an ordinary looking man ,but holding back ,with a vague smile . She introduced him as her 'brother ' ,but with a funny kind of questioning look which alerted me ,not in a bad way, to something ,not quite everyday .
We parted and after sometime I saw them sitting on the side of the 2000 year old
swimming pool (their backs to the pool ).I had my cine camera and she asked me to film them ,so I did and took her détails and promised to send a tape.

Again I had a funny feeling that she was disturbed ,not in a normal way ,but as though he was not real and she needed some proof .I am pretty good at seeing the hidden ,and when he looked at me ,without saying a word, he asked me not to give him away !!! So I had said nothing .(Growing up R.C. I thought Angels were cherubs with wings )
Anyways ,in Scotland we watched the film .There she was sitting on the edge of the pool, in the background a few people etc., but he ,who was sitting right next to her , he was not there .
A ghost or an Angel ?

I have a question for this thread, do angels have physical bodies or are they entirely spiritual? Do any visual imaginary of them only exist for our benefit?

They don't look like anything. They are spirits, without any physical body. On the occasions when God has sent them as messengers to humans, they appeared in human form.

Wow...I have heard stories like this but it's still shocking everytime. If the stories I have heard are true then there are some bad ones out there just like this.

An example I was reading last night:
Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, “Are you for us or for our enemies?”
“Neither,” he replied, “but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” (Joshua 5)

So here the Angel looks like a man that could have been any man.

From the experience of Abraham:
The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day. Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground. (Genesis 18)

These Angels looked like men to be welcomed as honored guests.

Now from the writer of Hebrews:
Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. (Hebrews 13)

Angels in this example are also indistinguishable from the general population of men.

No he was not bad at all, in fact the opposite .He seemed to be protecting her .He looked like an every day normal man , but a bit ethereal . He knew that I knew ,but for whatever reason ,he had been sent as her 'brother and if I said anything he would have to go .
As I am writing this it is getting clearer .
