  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

What did you do today?

I guess this is the kind of posts we are allowed...(but I can't bring myself to ask for a Anything that starts with the letter "J" type of post.)

I injected all sorts of chemicals into people's bodies.

However, it was all good and intended to improve their health. It reduced pain, improved breathing, lowered a fever, lowered blood sugars, and hydrated a person.

It is 35 degrees here and overcast. Yuk! No big deal because I am tucked in a corner at a hospital working on several research papers due in the next couple weeks. All garbage and busy work. Most libraries have very limited hours on the weeks so I live in the hospital atrium. At least I get wifi here.

This weekend I managed to get my laundry and grocery shopping done along with re-organizing my bathroom drawer and cupboards. I also had my RO filter replaced along with my water heater being drained and a plumbing inspection (which was pretty usless IMO) The only good thing about the plumbing inspection was that they drained the water heater. But then they quoted me for installing a new one and changing out some turn on valves and installing new sink fixtures all for a mere couple thousand dollars LOL. And none of anything they want to replace is broken. There is a small leak at the top of the water heater where the turn off valve is. I guess I have an old school turning knob instead of a gate and the knob probably has a washer and that's probably why it's leaking but it's VERY slow, no dripping and I don't have money to fix it right now.
I was thinking of getting a tankless water heater in the future whenever this one goes out, but I don't know too much about them. Anybody have one? thoughts?

Today I am at work. I might either go to the movies or rent a couple of movies I've been wanting to see. Probably the latter because it's cheaper.

I want to see Gravity and the Heat both with Sandra Bullock

I've seen both Gravity and The Heat. Gravity was a good movie, albeit a little slow at times. The Heat was hilarious, but I'll warn you it has a lot of language, so if you're not ok with that sort of thing, you may not enjoy it. I laughed the whole movie though.

I've been wanting to see the Heat for awhile now and Gravity just came out on redbox too so I thought why not? thanks for the review and warning.
