Not on that evidence alone.Fish have gills.
Mammals have lungs.
Thus a shark is a fish, and a porpoise is a mammal.
You can tell a mammal by its blowhole, which leads to their lungs.
Thus whales, dolphins, and porpoises are mammals.
Not on that evidence alone.
What about a platypus? There's more to it, of course, but that's a rough draft.
Mammals are warm-blooded and give birth to live offspring.
Some sharks, on the other hand, lay eggs.
"The question of what defines a species has vexed scientists across the ages, particularly in conservation, where decisions require a firm understanding of biodiversity."
What defines a species? Inside the fierce debate that's rocking biology to its core

Cryptids are creatures whose existence is claimed, disputed, or uncertain, without reliable or scientific evidence, making them ideal subjects for pseudoscience and supernatural speculations. In my opinion, cryptids & monotremes show that God didn't use evolution to configure this planet.
Have you seen my cryptid challenge thread?
That would be placental mammals. There's more to it, of course, but that's a rough draft.

They have nothing to do with atheism and no reason to have nightmares. They're just claims - some quite plausible, some quite implausible.Let's just call them "Atheist Nightmares."

I thought the cryptid theory was that we evolved from Big Foot. Or perhaps it was the abominable snow man. Although signtings in the Himalayan mountains. are rare. The white snow tigers are rare also. Or did I just see one of those on the stage at los vegas for a magic act?I have a feeling scientists have given up on trying to categorize these cryptids.

Atheist, Agnostic or Theistic science? What people call Science here on the board are books that are selling on amazon. They just want to sell their books and make money. When Neil Degrasse says Pluto is not a planet he has one intent, to sell books and stuff money in their pockets. When Collins says DNA is the language of God he has one intent in mind, to sell books and put money in his pocket or bank account. Look at "intelligent design". Again someone trying to sell books. He could not even get his theory to stand up in a court of law. Some day God is going to hold us accountable and the only BOOK we need to read is the Bible. Even then we could get by if we JUST read the sermon on the mount and take the teachings of Jesus to heart and apply His word to our lives.science can't explain.
No, that's not what science does, that's what Creationists do to try and lend credence to their stories of mythical beasts. Not that I know of.
Cryptids are animals, mostly mentioned in the Bible, that science can't explain.
Evolution works only so far, then it hits a stone wall it can't get around.
Unicorns, satyrs, dragons, behemoth, leviathan, to name a few.
All science can do is say they are synonyms for animals that exist today (example: unicorn = narwhal; behemoth = hippopotamus; etc) and hope we accept their junk explanations.
