The film is approved by the Vatican, so I don't think I would like it. As I said, my friend; I do not believe Catholicism is biblical. It moved a little too slow for my tastes. My favorite documentaries can be found in my Blogger article that lists evidences that back up God's Word. You can check them out here (if you are interested): Love Branch: Evidences for the Word of God Never seen the series. I never knew there was such a thing. I only seen the film. I like the courtroom sequence in God's Not Dead 2, and I like the interaction between the two brothers in God's Not Dead 3, but besides that they were just "so so" in my opinion. Not much into sports. So it is hard for me to watch sports movies. Not a fan of the Kendrick brothers films, except I did like their recent one (Overcomer) (Although there are two or three minor things I did not exactly like in it). The film did not do much for me. Yeah, it's not the greatest. It has two or three scenes that I like in it, but that is about it. The movie overall is not my cup of tea. It could have been better. It was too slow and boring for my tastes, and I am not a big Jim C. fan. Oh, and yeah, I think the violence aspect was unnecessary. Currently, I will no longer promote Christian films with Jesus in them. I say this because some attempt to picture the actor who plays Jesus in their minds when they pray and worship Jesus. This to me is idolatry. While these films may not be exactly that, I think you would like "The War Within" and "The Redemption of Henry Myers." Great film. The War Within looked cheesy to me after I seen the trailer. But seeing I like Brett Varvel as an actor (i.e. from seeing him in the film "Play the Flute"), I decided to give it a chance. I was totally surprised. Great special effects, good acting, and solid story line. Yeah, the costumes are cheesy a bit, and the characters are kind of like from some early Batman movie, but this was really enjoyable. I watched the movie many times. It is a very emotional film. If it does not make you tear up, I would say you need to check the ole pulse. Then you are really going to like... "The War Within." Don't watch the trailer because it may turn you off. Just start watching it on Amazon. If you have Amazon Prime Video, you can watch it for free. Your gonna love it. I like it so much that I bought the DVD. The DVD has an excellent behind the scenes making of the film. It literally was a family made film. A Christian family made a Christian film that is good. On this one: You will like Play the flute. It is not out on DVD, but you can see if it is playing in your area. Simply go to playtheflutemovie.com and scroll down to the bottom of the page to check out theater locations and times. My wife and I seen it in Stonybrook New York. I am thinking of seeing it again in the theater. Anyways, I have some other top Christian movies that I would recommend checking out in post #2, post #3, and post #4. I hope you get a chance to see my recommendations, and that you will enjoy them as much as i did. Blessings to you in the Lord.
