CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was thinking, what can I do today to change my life?
Of course I can't do much to change it in a big way, but I want to make subtle changes that will change my overall life because I am no longer content to continue in this holding pattern.
Today I have to work both jobs and it's my son's first day back to classes for second semester of High School. He is already giving me grief. He texted me that he thinks he has diarrhea. I was like "deal with it" and he tells me I'm the worst and that I'm only thinking of myself. Hahaha.

But HS I was dealing with most things in my life!
I remember my youngest son use to have a stomach that was quite weak when he was young. Way before JR HG he knew how to deal with it so that neither his mom or I had to do anything.
