What can we do to spread the word?

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to spread the word of God?

What is the best way to talk to someone who may be interested in God?

I ask these questions because of conversations I have had with Atheist on these and other forums.

Morality seems to have been redefined by them. Some sins are ok because they are subject to interpratation. The morality of God becomes an issue and logic has some how replaced emotion.

Eternal life is not an issue because they don't believe in life after death. The only reason Atheist claim to have to worship God is in the morality of it.

I know they are being self righteous and see where there are people who simply wont serve the Lord.
I would like to see a message, that could be universal that would express Gods love to those who would seek him outside the influence of the self righteous.

Often times there are examples of christians losing their faith. Due in part to the wrong teachings of morality and the love of God.

I honestly believe that we are living in the end times. I dont think we have to much time left to share the word of God.

We as Christians need to find the answer or pray for Jesus to return soon. As time passes and nothing is done more people will lose their salvation.

Talking is a good place to start. Sharing what Jesus has done in you. What is He doing through you. Oh, try living the life. That's always a good place to start. No pointing in opening yer yap if you aint living the life.

Slippery slope - on one hand I would argue that for some their heart is hardened beyond our hand - i.e. could Pharoh (Moses) or the high priests be convinced of the hand of God. I mean rationally if you didn't believe, witnessed the plagues or miracles of Christ and still didn't believe and tried to explain them off odds are nothing short of the hand of God is going to change that person. All that being said Satan would want nothing more than for us to throw in the towel with an "it's out of my hands" thought.

Difference between then and now is through the atonement and ressurection we have the Spirit within in us and are a conduit to plant the seed, that then only God can grow. No conduit, no seed, no growth, no light.

"How?" may often times feel like a lesson in futility - as you say atheists / non-believers thrive on conjecture and logic to argue away the corneerstones of faith. We hear the same arguments (both sides) over and over and over they can't point to God so it's a hoax, yet by this same standard the things they cannot prove are not hoax's but science yet to be proven...Bottom line could God just drop in and say here I am of course, but forced love and obedience is neither love or obedience. God requires faith, faith requires a seed, we all are required to plant seeds, don't need to walk away with wins in every argument just need to plant the seed out of compassion and love God will do rest.

Many of Strobel's books are good reads to give you points to have the discussions on their terms....again don't need to win arguments just not run from opportunity for God to plant seed through you.
