  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I own a Pentax *ist 35mm camera.
Many poeple recomended not to get a Pentax because it would be bad quality, but it seems like they were wrong.
I have had this camera for almost a year and havn't had any troubles with it.
I like the 11-point autofocus, 16-zone metering, many usefull options and ease of use.
One of the lightest and smallest 35mm slr's on te market.
The digital model(*istD) seems interesting, but not enough to make me switch to digital.
I would like to see pentax offering a true proffessional digital SLR, then I would switch.

I own a Kodak EasyShare CX7300 Digital Camera, 3.2MP. I am still learning how to use it, it's my first digitial camera!!

Hey Sis ( Kristi ) !!

We have a digital camera too & it's a KODAK DX3700 & it took me sometime too to get it figured out ... but it's really easy to use once you have things figured out !! Well, I hope all is well with you tonight as I stopped by your board only to read that CHRISTIAN SOILDER is leaving the board so I am sure that he will be missed by all !! So, I sent him a note & wished him all the best in whatever he choose to do.

Well, kiddo take care of yourself ... and I shall see you again soon either here there ... or somewhere in between !! Have a blessed weekend and stay well and do write sometime when you get a chance. Also thanks for the address too !!
