Just my personal preference, but I refer to God's inspirational spirit as the "Holy Spirit". God made it possible for anyone to have access to His wisdom and knowledge when Jesus conquered death on the cross, all that is required of you is to believe in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and that He is your only way to salvation and righteousness. If you truly seek Jesus and ask Him into your heart you may experience spiritual attacks because satan does not want you to know the truth, but if you persevere and trust in Jesus you will be prevail over evil because it's Jesus who has defeated evil for you. A great saying to remember is Jesus + nothing = everything.
I've always thought Ghost and spirit were synonymous. I've also had questions about people saying that all you have to do is believe that Christ died for our sins, but I also remember Jesus saying that Faith without works is dead. also there is the parable of the slothful servant. I always interpreted that parable as Jesus telling his disciples that the more diligently they spread his word the more they will be rewarded. The way reconciled the two is that believing in his sacrifice will open the door but spreading his word will let you walk through it.
This is very confusing and please don't go out on a limb to answer this, because I would rather you say I don't know, if you don't know. I'm not here to trip anyone up, that's not my purpose but there is a lot of stuff The Jehovah's Witnesses didn't explain.
One of the greatest weapons evil has against us is self pride or self righteousness. When you start to have that feeling that you've done something that only you could do and no one else can take any credit for it. This is the feeling that satan likes to build up and pronounce because he knows God detests human pride.
I can see that. Pride makes you believe you don't need anyone, including God and that's not, in my opinion what God had in store for mankind. The idea I have about the statement of be fruitful is not just about filling the world with people, it also meant expanding thought, understanding and above all human kindness to eachother.
Proverbs 16:5
"Everyone who is arrogant in heart is an abomination to the Lord; be assured, he will not go unpunished."
God allowed Pharaoh's heart to be filled with pride, so much so that Pharaoh even believed he was god or a god, this is the worst kind of pride. This is exactly why satan was cast out of heaven, he thought he was god and wanted to take the throne of God. Satan's choice to try and take God's throne was his own choice, God only
allowed it, God did not cause it. God did create Lucifer to be perfect, but it's not God's will to control free will, thus he allowed evil, but only because his perfect plan is to destroy evil and reveal His truth to every created being in heaven and earth, in order to glorify Himself, which He fully deserves![/QUOTE]
