CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I enjoy the occasional adult beverage 
, but my real vice is diet cherry coke or pepsi. I'm down to to cans a day now though and I soon hope to be off the stuff for good. It kind of conflicts with my preferane for organic and healthy foods afterall.

Hmmm...my College vices...I liked to hang with my friends late at night! Play Video games the first semester...second sememster it died out a little. Chat with my roommate while we where trying to go to bed and had to get up early hahaha (Not good if your not a morning person that is me). Smoking Cigars with some buddies on there balcony everyonce in a while...smoked a little more when mid-terms and finals where coming up haha . Then go have wings as well on Monday's at Kilkenny's SOooooooooo GOOOD!!!! I think that is about it. This is all what I like to do

A vice is an object often used to hold things together very tightly, like when working with wood for example. So the "vices" we are talking about here are things that are "holding onto us" very tightly, or things that we do often. It's more commonly associated with bad habits.

Lately, my vices have been drinking too much and smoking too much. I used to hardly do either of them, but i've been so stressed out lately with college work that i've done it more and more. am really trying to cut down on it now.

my friend played distraction to my studying for the weekend prior to finals week. i sort of regret letting her, but given a chance to repeat the weekend over, i wouldn't change it for all the silk in china.
