What are your thoughts on bullying !

I know me and a christian friend.

There is this 1 guy that takes advantage and hits us whenevver we see him..

He about 23 years old

He is in college with us

He knows we won't hit back

What should we do ?

Just continue to show him as much love as Christ did. But also you have to take up for yourself! Tell him that if he doesn't quit then you will be forced to hit him back.

that's why i take karate. i dont start things but if someone hits me u can get them to the ground...not hit them back or anything but use their power against them

You are not helping him, and you are feeding into his dysfunctional behavior by allowing him to do this. It's time to set limits. In the Bible it tells us to not allow a violent man to be without consequences. There are consequences for 'assaulting' someone else. It's time that he faced those consequences.

If you continue to allow him to hit you you're setting an example of Christians as being pushovers which we're not.

Bullies are actually people who LIKE you!!! They just want positive attention but are doing it in a negative way. Talk to them nicely & be their friend! (That's Jesus' way too.)

Ask God for wisdom and discernment, seriously. You do not honor God and you will not be equipped to do as He commands us in Isaiah if you do not handle the situation wisely.

Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Find a mature mentor who is strong and wise in the Lord. You will only sow contempt from the bully and all those witnessing you allowing the bully to freely hit you. If you ever decide to marry later, you will not be equipped to be a husband a wife can respect or feel safe with if you do not seek wisdom in this situation now.

May God grant you clarity in this situation.
