What are your quiet-times like?

Hey all! Thanks so much for visiting this post, by the way:hug: . Okay, lately I've been having trouble finding time for God and when I do make time everyday I'm not really sure how to go about it. Like, I talk to Him and read the Bible and stuff, but I was just wondering what your quiet times are like? What tips do you have? Basically just tell me what you do for your quiet times and what helps you connect to God and make time for him.

Thank you, and God Bless...

Before I roll out of bed in the morning I read a verse or two out of my Bible and pray...this way I have made Him first in my day and I know that no matter how hectic the rest of the day becomes I have had some time with the Lord...does that make sense?

I think it's really helpful if you have a devotional journal or Bible study that you are going through. When I have something that keeps me focused, like journaling, it pushes me to have quiet time. Prayer always takes over when you're in God's Word. His Spirit in you can't help but bow down in reverence and prayer.

My quiet times wax and wane. As you mature in Christ, you realize there are many peaks and valleys. Yet, we are secure in one thing if He's our Lord - He will always bring us back to the mountain.

It's very hard trying to maintain quiet times while being in school or even working and having a hectic life. When I do my quiet times, God fills me with peace and lots of time to gather my thoughts for the day and just breath. I like to shake up my "routine" quiet times. Certain days i will worhship and pray, by taking a long walk by myself. Other times I have to stay inside and I read my bible and journal out my conversations to God, thoughts I have and anything I want my savior to keep for me.
I encourage everyone to continue giving their time to God, he gave it to us:) keep it up!
