I ended up getting a rotary cutter for just $5 on Sunday. I like it a lot.Ooh, I'd love a rotary cutter but for now my scissors will have to do. Can't wait to see the pics of your flax bag. Hopefully I'll have 5 dresses finished this week the I can move on to easter gifts. I'm making wands for the kid's baskets.
Wow July! 5 dresses! You are wayyy more energetic than I am.
I have never used a rotary cutter.
My hubby is building a shed. Will I ever be glad when he is finished and his tools and stuff get banished from the house.
We have a shed full of tools and gadgets, a garage full with toold and gadgets, and a basement that has at least two HUGE piles of tools and gadgets not to mention the tools here and there. I would love nothing better than to banish from the house....and he has the AUDACITY to complain about my crafts in neat bins....the NERVE
LOLOLOL I know just what you mean!!!
For a while my husband had gotten back into playing paintball -- not a cheap hobby. After about the 3rd weekend of play he asked me if I was ok with him going away every weekend. I smiled and sweetly said "No. I figure one more weekend away and I get to buy me the set of Brittany hooks I've had my eye on." He stopped playing paintball quite so often (but I still got my hooks!)
Don't be too impressed. I'm basically assembly line sewing. My girls each have one style they prefer over everything else so it makes things very easy.Wow July! 5 dresses! You are wayyy more energetic than I am.

They're little bags filled with flax seeds. They can be popped in the microwave to provide a moist heat pack, or you can stick them in the freezer to use as a cold pack for bumps and bruises and sunburn...that kind of thing.JulySheMustFly You are blessed if your little ladies have one style they like best. Coffee bean fabric is cute. What are Flax bags?

I make sequin calendars. I do about 25 each year. I've been doing this since I was about 13. That's a lot of calendars
I think I am going to try to make a flax bag.
Sign me up - I would like to see the calendars too!
I'll have to try and take a picture of the calendar. It might take me a while to get it posted
