A couple of songs by the British singer Lucy Thomas. She has a remarkably clear and powerful voice for a 20 year old.

She was 17 when this was recorded. Neither Dolly Parton or Whitney Houston did it better.

Been into Alanis Morissette recently. I notice her early music videos try to obscure her face. I don't to think she's ugly, but she isn't what most people consider a model. I noticed this with other female artists too. I find it sad, although I understand the rational behind it. Of course as she got famous they dropped trying to obscure her face altogether. In the end if you have talent looks don't really matter.

I am usually someone who doesn't care about lyrics in songs but I do enjoy hers.

I love street music. And folk music with various guitars and violin and big bass and all that. It reminded of a couple of songs I will post below when I find them lol.

As I said I like street music and non professionals. Theres a lot of great talent out there on the streets. The first song is an Aussie band but this song was really when they were playing at festivals.

The second song is a couple of guys who actually jam with other uni students or something because theres always different people playing. But these two guys Josh and Carson make great music and teach as well. But they aren't big time.
