I tolded you I was a little differentA chick who doesn't like power ballads? Get outta here! LOL Power ballads actually hurt some metal artists. Extreme is a good example. Their song, More Than Words, was a huge hit. But when people heard their other songs, they didn't know they were listening to Extreme.
Yeah, the intro is really long. The music doesn't start 'til 1:30 into it. I should've warned y'all.ok........ I can't get past this ladies attrocious acting
(even knowing she's copying their "we're not gonna take it"
gig)
I'll TRY to view this again......
*take 2* lol
Some Christians feel that it is the style of music that is satanic, even if the lyrics are Christian. I don't know one way or the other. The only reason I don't like Christian metal is because I don't like secular metal either. And that's based on sound, not morals. Nothing but personal preference at work here.I think he felt the need to clarify because there is an assumption among Christians that certain forms of music are "of the devil." Heavy Metal is always "music of the devil," where Christians are concerned. If music or a song is Christian, it should be evident in the lyrics. Sadly, a lot of Christians music today, doesn't meet that criteria. The presence of Jesus is implied rather than explicity stated.
I like less and less metal stuff - I used to love it, but over the past 5 years it sounds more like noise and I don't like it unless it has a real distinctive tune that isn't grating on my last nerve lol. Some Christians feel that it is the style of music that is satanic, even if the lyrics are Christian. here's one that SHOULD have ruined a band:
"every rose has its thorn".
The only good thing about that band was CC Deville-
Key word there: WAS.
See, Zeck... you gotta remember how girls think of guys in a band - who CARES if they're whacked out junkies, what matters is how hot they are-were.Well in a way, it kinda did ruin Poison. They weren't around much longer after that song came out. Native Tongue didn't quite sell as well as their previous works. I agree, Poison is: Bret Michaels, C.C. Deville, Bobby Dall, and Ricky Rocket. That's Poison. But C.C. was such a whacked out junkie that recording music with him was nearly impossible. I saw him later on an a season of MTV's reality show for washed-up celebs. I can't think of the name of it right now. He was still a mess then. But thankfully, he was soon forgotten in the wake of a train wreck like Joanie Laurer aka Chyna.

(far left) -
add a hardcore NY accent on that & who cares what he did. LOL
Ever see Brett Michael's lame show looking for a girlfriend? "Rock of Love"?
oh boy........... that's one sorry show.
