What are you like?

A sometimes-friend, sometimes-enemy of mine made a post in an argument we were having earlier, and it flowed so well that I commented on it being poetry.

She's given me permission to alter it slightly and to post it here.

She say's that's what she's like. So what're you like? Make a short poem and post it here. I think that would be fun.

I can't participate, though--I still have her poem/post ringing in my mind.

Here it is:

I wish that I could flame.
    I especially I wish I could be smug.
I wish I could sugar-assault everyone
    like I see so many true christians do.
But I am rubbish at being angry,
    I am rubbish at being false.

I am nice--
    not a saint,
not a preacher--
    just a mum,
and a wife,
    a buddy,
a person.

I wish that I could flame.

So. What are you like?

I think I'm kind, but I'm probably not;
I'm not nearly as smart as I think.
I think I'm deep, but I'm too shallow for that;
I'm not nearly as wise as I think.

I think I'm funny, but I'm probably not;
I'm not nearly as strong as I think.
I think I'm bright, but I'm too weary for that;
I'm not nearly as good as I think.
