Watched part of the Boxing Day test Cricket - Australia vs. South Africa. It was pretty fun but very HOT in the sun all day!! hehe, there were heaps of teenagers/young adults in our area (we were near bay 13, melbourne people should know what that means!) and they kept starting mexican waves and throwing beachballs around (which got confiscated by police) A very interesting day!

Hi all,

Currently in Kuala Lumpur - very warm (about 25 c). Narnia was AWESOME - seriously everyone should see it.

Just thought I'd come on and say hi. Am here for another 4 hours or so, then 13 hour flight from here to Heathrow. Should get in somewhere around 3am QLD time (4am NSW/VIC time/5pm London time).

Went to Picadilly Circus, Trafalgar Sq, looked into 10 Downing St, Soho and Big Ben/Westminster Abbey. Later on going to the Tower of London and seeing Les Miserables.

Oh yeah - and it is FREEZING outside!

Hello again! Sorry for all those getting jealous!

I didn't end up going to Les Mis - was closed for the Bank Holiday here.

Today am going up to Lord's (home of Cricket), Kensington Palace, Notting Hill, then down for the 'real' Changing of the Guard, and out to Greenwich.

Tonight I'm hoping to go on a Jack the Ripper Tour, and tomorrow I leave on my tour!

First stop - Amsterdam via the Chunnel and northern end of France!

It is COLD! Hope you aren't taking your heat for granted!

today was a good day for me until 4.00......... i wont go into details, but i now have a badly burnt hand from hot coolant/water an had to wait at the hospital for 2.5 hours in pain.... to top it off work didnt have any icepacks.... so i went to the nightowl around the corner and the lady there gave me some old icypoles that they were going to throw out, and that helped a bit with the pain. so after the 2.5 hour wait ended up getting a tetnis (sp?) shot and some pain killers which dont seem to work very well..... at least it wasnt as bad as some other people who had been waiting for 6 hours!!!!! so thats my eventful afternoon

was having an alright day till i sliced my hand with a chisel (very sharp one too....) be about an inch long and 4-5mm deep...... my whole hand is sore now.... looks like i wont be playing guitar for a while..

I hope it's not the same hand you burned a while back, mate!! I sliced one of my fingers with a chisel back in Year 7 woodwork...ot as big a cut as yours, but I still have the scar to wear "proudly". Hope it doesn't inconvenience you too much.

I had a busy weekend - I'll elaborate tomorrow if I have the time to do so

ooooh, you're not having much fun lately, one burned hand, then another one cut with a chisel. Ouch.

As for me, can't believe the weekend is over, helped a friend move house (just for an hour or so, R was busy doing business stuff so couldn't take care of the kids for more than an hour or 2) But I guess every little bit helps right.

Just went to church yesterday and lunch at MIL house,

Today is Em paediatrician appointment, her legs are going to be alright I am sure, It's just a checkup to see how things are progressing.

going to make a cake today too, so Dan has something nice to take for lunches, just slice it into thin slices and freeze it, so it keeps longer.

an i had my last time @ my church yesterday...

so far 2day i have been 2 Koorong... and i got Brooke Fraser's album... an yea..

oh.. an i have my 3rd last shift at work 2nite..

lol yep same hand.... its hard trying to work with it, as the bandages keep coming off due to sweat..... and i knocked it today and it opened up again.... going to the GP tomorrow to see if it will need stitches..

Today I slept in and lazed around. was great! I hired out some movies and watched them

I also booked appointments to see 3 different specialists in the next 6 weeks... I'm so glad that my parents still pay most of my medical bills... cause all up, before medicare/private healthfund rebates in total it'll be $640 Thats an expensive 2-3 hours! Don't worry though, I'm not sick or anything.. just some girly probs I need to sort out. Although, it amazes me how much it costs just to have an ultrasound... makes me wonder how people can afford to be pregnant.
