Yeah, I knew that. I have Asperger's and take everything literally because we "don't understand jokes" and still understood that.
Well that's good to know. I am grumpy because someone on a different forum couldn't comprehend that I was trying to be humorous when I said "people who throw puppies off cliffs should be tazered in the genitals". The person said they thought I was mentally unstable and they wouldn't "trust me around children". I'm not going to respond because the person is on there defending a Marine that threw an 8 week old puppy off a cliff. Yeah, I'm the mentally unstable one, because I have empathy for an 8 week old puppy and anger at the marine that threw the puppy off the cliff....
My statement about tazering people who throw puppies off cliffs was meant to be humorous, not serious. If me having a sense of empathy for a puppy that was thrown off a cliff and anger towards the guy that did it makes me mentally unstable in your opinion, I'm OK with that. You are the one defending a guy that threw a puppy off a cliff.
Cruelty to animals has been linked with violent crime and cruelty to people. Serial killers start off by being cruel to animals.
Also, there are studies that show people behave better when there are mirrors and/or cameras present. If this guy is acting cruel ON camera, there is no doubt in my mind that he does worse things off camera."
It reminds me of the time someone took me seriously for a comment about eating babies... Sometimes I wonder if people have a sense of humor at all.Oh gosh, someone actually took you seriously about the genital tazering comment. Thats funny.
Listening to my mom and my ex stepdad talk... hmm... is talk the correct word? Probably not.
My mom and I have... without him, which he's furious about.
