  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ok...probably weird coming from an atheist...but I'm reading the Bible. Jeremiah to be exact.
I don't think that's weird. We should all be informed about the beliefs of others in order to better define our own beliefs.

I'm reading a couple different books now. Well...I got some new ones & the one I was reading kinda got forgotton temporarily.
No woman so fair by Gilbert Morris (its about Sarai, Abram's wife...so far its really interesting).

The Princess by Lori Wick (one of my favorites that I'm rereading for like the kajillionth time).

Another View by Rosamunde Pilcher (its ok, not the best book ever though, so who knows if I'll finish it).

I just finished reading Thr3e by Ted Dekker (that was definitely an interesting one).

That's all of them for now. I'm not a bookworm or anything. My mom wonders how I keep track of anything. I dunno...I just do. I remember most of the books I've read just by reading the back cover.
See ya
