The "Proverbs 31 wife" although not very realistic (the perfect wife). Shows a woman with a thriving business or means to provide for herself and her family. A woman with authority (through character, wisdom, and ability to secure resources.

The woman depending entirely on the man and the man making tons of money is the desired situation in a strongly Patriarchal society. But that is not the Christian way (at least the Christianity I know).

A man committing adultery is common enough especially the high earning ones (realistically speaking, the temptation is very high for them) so the woman needs to always have a backup plan for this especially if pre nups are involved.
