What are some examples of everyday faith?

I see all the time people saying there is no evidence in God. However, these same people have blind faith in everyday things and do not require the amount of evidence to believe in these things as they require of God.

I was thinking one example might be having faith that your car will start in the morning when you put the key in the ignition. There is no scientific study required for people to believe in that.

Can you give some stronger examples?

We have faith that the sun will rise tomorrow

We have faith that while driving the cars in the opposite lane will not swerve into your lane.

We have faith when we are flying in a plane it wont fall out of the sky.

I wouldnt say there is a whole lot of evidence needed in order to have faith in God. On the other hand, scientific laboratories and human resources can be quite expensive.
I have a book next to my bed that has 66 books and letters in it that answer just about all of my questions that I have everyday in life. If I were to ignore it I would have to come up with some sort of alternative truth. Therefore, mankind has decided that there is no truth, and anyone who declares they know what is, is a fool.
Its interesting that philosophers and teachers preach that its impossible to know truth, yet they are regarded as some of the most intelligent people in the world. But when the saved Christian stands up and declares his/her faith, they are mocked and considered inept. In other words, to know nothing is genius (the humanist), yet knowing something is failure. Its a backwards world. But then again Satan is the ruler of the world right now, so I would expect it to be this way. Someday it will change forever (Revelation)
