What an awakening!

In thinking of a dear friend, I reciently found myself thinking, "I would give my life for that guy." Then, as a flash of light, the thought came into mind, "Would you give the life of your child for him?" After a moment of thought, and to my relief, my response to that thought was, "I would'nt have the right." Then I thought of the One who did have the right, the one who did give the life of His one and only Son for me, came to mind.

What an awakening!

WOW. thats another reason why we just got to lift up our hands and praise God. He was so merciful that he gave up his ONLY son to die for our sins. Wow ... Thank you Jesus.

Yes one thing to offer our life, but quite another to offer our child. Not nearly as strong as we think we are?
