What age is the best age to start a band?

It really doesn't matter what your age is....although I would start an Emo band at 40....Come to think of it...I wouldn't start and emo band ever...anyhoo age is irrelevent but personally It would be best during High school because your parents still pay the bills lol

Just for fun - probably around 13-16. If you're shooting for label notice and such - 18+. That allows you to afford quality equipment and have some form of transport to gig with. Also it makes you old enough to sign your life away to a record contract.

I know of a band who's played at several very large festival's in Holland and the average age of the members is at most 12 years old, and half of them look under 10. So anything is possible, but generally I'd say 15 or so atleast.
