GOOD THREAD!!! for years i had always wondered where i would be during that time. my question was answered when i saw the Passion movie. i knew then that i would have been standing beside John in the courtyard of the temple when they brought Jesus out after He had been beaten, wanting to be as close as was possible to Jesus.

but i also know that i would have put my foot in my mouth as often as Peter did in struggling to come to the realization of who Jesus was, and what He ment (and means) in my life. My heart is there but my "delivery" often lacks finness.

I know I would not have been there! I refuse to even watch car-racing,because of the wrecks! I am not the type that chases/follows emergency vehicles. Even songs like this break my heart! I am always moved by any message of what He did for us,but you know what else gets me? To think how He humbled Himself,to ALLOW all that they did to Him without SHOWING them His power!

I will never forget the sacrafice he made for us...this song always makes me weep...but I have to rejoice also for I know he made this for our salvation!
