This Saturday I went to confession, and for the first time since I was in grade school there was a line. I waited nearly an hour to go to confession. It was beautiful to see that many people asking for God's grace. It helped me remember that I'm not in this alone.

It is amazing how I always feel as light as a feather after communion. Everything feels like it has been lifted off my shoulders.

I just thought it was pretty amazing to see a line.

I just got back from confession. It's a great feeling to be absolved from your sins.

Yeah, I know. It's always a good sign to see lines at confession. I usually go after work (The Cathedral had 3 confession times each day, except Sundays, but this time we went on Saturday, and there was a line. It made me feel a bit better that I was not the only one with sins to confess!

It's such a wonderful sacrament! I'm always excited and nervous at the same time to go! It's just the best to be soooo very clean!

Well done colleen! Those confessions after a long time are especially relieving. It is nice to be sure that you are back

But... do make sure not to wait another x years for your next one It still feels pretty great even after a few weeks gap.

I actually went to confession for the first time in nine years back in march of last year, and so I've been trying to go more frequently. Normally when I go I seem to be the only one so it was nice to see that other people are wanting to receive God's grace and forgiveness.

I try to go at least once a month, but I think I need it once every 2 weeks.

If I don't go to Reconciliation'Confession during Advent and Lent, I always feel there's something not quite right.

I love going to Confession, God is Merciful.

I go once a month, and i usually go on the Saturday afternoon, which means that the following Sunday Mass is very richly blessed for me.

I was always taught that during Advent and Lent are the two times that you must go to Confession. Well, not must go, but strongly encouraged...

You're only required to go once a year. You're also required to receive Communion once a year, between the First Sunday of Lent and Pentecost (Easter's preferred), so most people go to confession around Easter. Last year on Good Friday, the line at my parish for Confession was out the door and around the block. Wonderful thing to see.

I just love seeing a line, because it proves confession isn't dead. So many people would lke to act as if no one goes anymore.

Gosh I've just realised I haven't been to confession for about 2/3 years....thats bad!
