  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I just joined and can't wait to get started. I am hoping that this site will help me with issues I am having and that God will be speaking to me through others..

I am from Southern California and have a couple of kids, a hubby and live with a very difficult mother in law... That just about sums up my life

Hello Everyone!

I've just joined and I'm excited to get to know people on this site. It seems like a great place to fellowship.

I'm originally from Maryland but now live in Virginia. I've been married for 3 1/2 years now and we have two boys. Jonathan will turn two on the 26th of this month and Caleb will be two months tomorrow! I stay home with my boys and run an ESL (English as a Second Language) Ministry that works with students online as well as locally. It's a big blessing to be able to share the Gospel with students from all over the world. Well. . .I've rambled on enough.
