Weird question....

i'm a ditz when it comes to the simplest terms for computers.....

here's my question...i don't know what i've done, but i can't find my scroll arrows on the right side of my screen...there's just a hazy grayish silly lookin "bar" thing that i haf'ta use to scroll with.....

can anybody help?

What prog? I think Chrome has done away with the arrows.

When? i just had them a couple days ago...but then i had the idiotic notion to mess around with the features on my computer, like background, contrast, etc. and then my scroll bar with the arrows (one at the top, the other at the bottom of the right hand side scroll bar) just disappeared....what a horror it is right now...

Chrome did AWAY with them??!!! Who at Chrome had THAT bright idea? Ugh!!!!

I was just wonderin' if

1. I was makin' any sense
2. if it was something i did, and if so, how to fix it back....?

A ha. Yes, just a couple of days ago they nuked the scroll arrows. Chrome is the most undemocratic browser out there, except for IE. There's a storm of user protest over this stupid move, and so far they are ignoring it.

Edit: at the same time this change happened, chrome wiped out all my extensions without notice.

Open that link in chrome and you should get a pop-over with a blue rectangle in the upper right that says FREE. Click on that to install it.

Google does what it wants to do, and only changes course when public pressure becomes too much. Much like MS. There is a bug report on this issue somewhere that ppl have been piling onto.

Probably the chrome help/support groups is the best way. Go to Menu/help/faq and in the upper right you'll see support forums
