In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It sounds like you are just getting the wedding jitters. Unless the dreams are positive about your ex...ie sexual or otherwise. Then, I would be a bit concerned and you need to think about why you might be having such dreams about her.

If the dreams are negative or nightmares, maybe you are still dealing with the hurt she caused you and maybe you are afraid that the woman you are with now will do the same thing to you? Pray about these dreams and ask God to deliver you from them. They seem to really be bothering you. Before you go to bed pray and then think about the wedding and your committment to your fiance. Think about what you love about her. Think happy thoughts :)

Last night I had a dream about another guy besides my boyfriend. My best friend set me up on a date with another guy, even though ine dream I knew I was with my b/f. We all went to this dance (with country music). I remember holding the other guy's hand and thinking he was fun to dance with, but in the end I realized that my boyfriend has something special that this guy and others just don't have. So, sometimes dreaming about another person than your s/o is a good thing.

I don't really know how else to advise you since I don't know the specifics of the dreams.

I have found throughout my life that ex boyfriends pop up in dreams, it is usually my subconscious coming out and I have often found it quite helpful to gauge where I really am in my feelings.

For example, an ex from 10 years ago, who was a significant boyfriend and we were very serious at the time, has often popped up in my dreams over the last 10 years (usually when I was making a decision over another man) and in the dreams he always wanted me back... and I always went. Until last year when I was engaged, he came into my dream and asked me back, and I told him where to go!!!!!! I knew then that I had really broken free, he hasn't appeared since :)

Pray about it, ask God for insight. It will be your deep subconscious coming out at the time of pre wedding stress, I think it depedns WHAT you dreams consist of as to whether you should be worried. pray through the dreams and ask God to cut you free from the past .

An ex didn't pop up in my dreams--he popped up at work, looking for me! He said that he knew I was getting married, but he wanted to let me know he still loved me, and if I changed my mind he'd be there waiting. Needless to say, he waited for a long time. But he's now happily married, and me, him his wife and my husband are all friends! Weird how things work out, isn't it?

My girlfriend used to have a lot of dreams about her being in close with another guy(not any specific guy... sometimes famous people, sometimes guys we know), even though during the dream she knows she's with me and wants to be with me. It really freaked her out, but it eventually stopped. I think you're just getting nervous about taking a huge step in life :)
