CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I love weddings and would travel anywhere to attend, provided I had the financial means to do so.

As a pastor, I have the best view in sanctuary. Watching the faces of the bride and groom is awesome. Pronouncing them man and wide is a privileged. But I think I enjoy the premarital counseling most.

It's amazing the number of upstanding individuals that don't have a problem with getting sloshed at the reception.

I think they're really nice --
but the realist in me can't help but get adgitated at the serious
waste of $$ that it is when it can be much better spent on
necessities a couple will need when they first start out together.

Guess it depends on how good a cook her husband is...
Weddings...I love weddings...especially Christian weddings.
Some secular weddings I have my concerns about...particularly when they go into the marriage with "Well...if it doesn't work out...there is always divorce"...
