it's -14 where I am right now.... it's starting to get colder and colder out....not likeing it at all.....

High today of 66F, 5mph winds, and the sun is shining. Wish I could go fishing. Oh, well, tomorrow is the General deer opener. I will be ready for some outdoor adventure.

Wow, -14 ugh.

Today is a little warmer than it has been this week where I am. We're at about 50F today, we've been in the upper 20s lower 30s this week. But it's a little windy today, 20 mph.

Not so much here (must be one of the few places in the country that isn't). We haven't had rain since March until last week but that is normal here as we are semi desert but also semitropical. So we have had a few showers over the last week as the rains start to come over a little earlier than in the past few years - I am not complaining...as long as it doesn't stop me driving out in five weeks. Heaps of courseways etc. around town and many lowlying areas...being flooded in in the summer happens at least once a year often 3 or more. Oh well that is life and it only tends to last a couple of days. Drains away pretty quick.

right now it's now -5C which it 32F and it was colder this morning... it was -14c which is about 6F....so yeah it's getting colder out....and it's not fun at all

I love the cold. It gets like 30 below (F) where I grew up. Here in Texas, it very rarely reaches freezing. I remember coming in from working on our farm in the sub-zero cold, and sitting next to the woodstove, my mom pouring me a hot cup of coffee, and feeling soooo good, safe, warm. Watching the wind howl and the snow fly and accumulate outside through icicle-adorned windows, really makes you appreciate being indoors, even temporarily. That level of comfort and appreciation for something so simple is, I fear, probably never reached by those who grew up here in the southern US.

yeah I know what you mean about caming in on a cold day and sitting in front of the fire and drinking hot coffee.....I can't wait tell there is more snow on the ground.....I just don't like going outside and being cold that's about it

It's been in the 50s today, bright sun and the trees are ON FIRE with color!

It's going down to 25 tonight so I'll have a crackling log fire and sleep in flannel jammies.

Husband will be in a sleeping bag with his camo and gun. Run, Bambi, Run!!!
