We need more positive and creative threads

We have a lot of negative threads and pointless debates here on CF. It's not good for positive relationships with one another or our mental and emotional health, and it doesn't exactly make us look good. I'd like to see more threads about fellowship and creative topics, which don't seem to be very common anymore. Does anyone else feel this way?

Yes, usually threads that aren't about a debate topic end up becoming a debate topic.

There might not be so many because people are concerned that sharing good things will result on them being trampled upon.

it's not as bad as when I started at CF, where people from the fundamentalist would troll deeper fellowship, but I only need to look at my ignore list to understand that it's not like it's a safe place to share good things.

I think CF is a big site and it depends on where you look. The political sections are not a good place to find joy. I like going to places like Visual Art when I'm looking to feel better. The Prayer Wall also helps me remember that God is our biggest source of hope.

Other "happier" sections are Poetry and Prose, and Daily Devotionals.
