Now we don't have to have faith in that 15-year-old Ford.
My coworker is clearing out her mom's estate and needed to sell a Corolla
a bit up there in years (2003!) but well taken care of with only 100k miles on it,
and a well maintained Toyota easily lives to have 300k miles on it.
We only have to pay $4500 when originally we were looking at buying used cars
from a dealership and they were between $10k and $13k.
So now when my husband goes to the university that is a 30 mile commute,
we don't have to worry about the car not being dependable.
And we aren't getting into a huge amount of debt for it.
