I am leading worship in an international church and next week I would like to invite the congregation to sing "I exalt Thee" from Pete Sanchez in their own language. (I can't post any links because I am new, but you can find the song on google)
I would like everyone to praise the Lord in the language that comes directly from their heart, so that we have a choir made up of different languages, but united through the love of / for our one and only God
I know the song is popular in countries all around the word and I was hoping that you could help me find the lyrics in the following languages:
- Dutch
- Portuguese (Brazilian)
- Filipino
- Romanian
- Ukrainian
- Spanish
- Kiswahili
- Burmese
- Twi
Maybe you speak one of these languages or you know someone who knows someone or you know where I could ask. Any of these languages would help. I am looking for the verses and the chorus, but if you only have the chorus that would be fine as well. If possible, I would like the chorus to say "We exalt Thee", instead of "I exalt Thee".
If you don't know the "official" translation to this song, just the words We exalt You, we adore You, we praise You, we worship You, we lift You up, would be fine as well, as long as they somehow fit the melody of the song
