WCG anyone??

I've been around a good bit here, but can't recall any members of WCG.

Are you talking about the remnant of the church of Garner Ted Armstrong, or one of the splinters?

Around 16 years ago I was as attending member of wcg in tulsa.
A year or 3 later they split-up and the remaining 'leaders' weren't conducive(weren't encouraging) to stay.
wcg members who know the truth of Scripture that armstrong somehow found out (he revealed much that they didn't talk about, and I don't know where nor how he found out himself)
aren't permitted to post what they know, so there prob aren't many around.

I was a member of WCG for many years. I highly respect their theological honesty and courage in making changes from the silly errors of Herbert Armstrong and his back yard religion with its fundamental ignorance of Holy Scripture and use of proof-texting rather than good Bible Study techniques.

What I do not respect is unelected leadership that was imposed upon people without their say so, or even the elders as representatives of the people. Even the pope is elected by top leaders, yet Joe Tkach was not. Hence the WCG remains an unelected monarchy and I cannot in good conscience support it until that changes.
