And he didn't get a chance to ride a camel. Never mind, he would have fallen off.

To set up one of these trips. Policy makers must be on the ground weeks if not months before the President comes strolling in. The pathway has to be laid out before the big cheese takes a seat. Following no commitments during the meetings, we get two stories. A President hoping HOPING for the best, then making a political campaign statement instead of telling what happened. Saudi Arabia came out and set the record straight. "We are producing at almost maximum capacity. We have nothing to offer."

The insult began with a fist bump. When you take an International Marketing class in college, you receive a book. That book details the customs of each country you will do business with. Biden fist bumped every person in Saudi just a day after shaking every hand in Israel. He finally shakes hands with the King. An absolute insult.

This Administration is rudderless. The point men are not setting up these meetings to be successful and we don't have a President capable of critically breaking down where the problems exist.

This afternoon a point is made about the meeting with all of the oil producers in Saudi in one room. Not a word spoken about begging for more oil. If that is true, then why did Biden make the trip? This is not photo op time. He's there to seal the deal that should have been ready when he walked in the door. Pointless trip.

So much for the myth of an extensive foreign policy knowledge.

Today, the price of oil jumped by five dollars a barrel .....Good move Joe.

Do you not understand yet he doesn't care about oil ? Or that we have enough crude to supply ourselves and other nations as well right here that he stopped or at least crippled starting his first week in office ? We have no need to beg just produce ! If you recall, the agenda is all about green. Though none of these green politicians are ever concerned with tons and tons of jet fuel to cart their butts around the world to make a showing..

I understand that. He and his Administration is clueless. Are they so dense that they think the world will gut their economies to join the Unicorn Cult? Saudi is all about oil. The whole government and Kingdom about oil. No one talked about wind and solar farms among the sand dunes.

I was pointing out, there is no Jerod Kushner that goes out weeks before a Presidential visit. Every trip they take seems and looks like a half baked vacation. G7 and G20 are structured because the group in charge sets the tone and the script. Otherwise. as I stated ...It's amazing Joe wasn't riding a camel .... I believe they were afraid Joe would have fallen off. Camels have no training wheels and they don't have 5 or 6 legs.

When you meet a stranger there is rarely a deal.
The more you meet with somebody, the more you have common ground and the opportunity to make an exchange of some kind. Handshakes are the best and fistbumps are...well...nothing concrete.

Politics is different game. For example, when a President walks in, there has been numerous conversations and deals struck for the two leaders to speak about. Side by side they will stand before the press and essentially discuss their conversation and the deals struck well before they met. That way, all possible blocks would have been openly discussed before hand. You never see the two leaders stand at the podium and yell at each other. The topics have been discussed and agreed on well before they meet. The outcome predetermined. There is too much at stake to not cover every possibility before hand. It also pays to have personalities that play together well. It appears that as long as Biden remains on script, he can read anything put in front of him. In this case, I think they jumped the gun a bit. Expecting the Saudi's to roll over for them and make a deal. It didn't occur in the meeting, yet the script was already prepared. I've seen this before in business. "We are the US, no one will contradict us and no one will disagree with us." Sometimes assumption is dead wrong and this was the case with the Saudi Government. Everything Biden said in his prepared speech was wrong. There was and never would be a deal.

Oh no. I'm referring to politics. As well as any relationship. They all work on the same principals. The top 6 are reciprocity, scarcity, authority, commitment and consistency, liking and consensus.

Please be consistent. You criticize his visit because Saudi Arabia violates human rights.
Then when his visit is over you criticize him for not getting enough done.
He shouldn't have gone, remember? You should be happy if you care about human rights.

And what exactly did he do concerning human rights?

Ask about a murdered journalist? That's it?

He could have made a phone call to get the same answer.

He did and accomplished nothing.

Who said he shouldn't have gone?....another one of the hero's of the left, Bernie Sanders.

You can review his video on ABC via You Tube.

It's sad enough, in my opinion, that this elder abuse is on display in his home country. I guess he has to, as president, go to other countries.. but.. it is even more obvious on the world stage that he is aging and deteriating cognitavely before the entire world..

On the View the conservative host (a disillusioned former Trump aide) criticized Biden for visiting a country that violated human rights. Conservatives are welcome on the View but support of Trump is inexcusable.
I was tremendously embarrassed when Trump was on the world stage. When they laughed at him (not with him) at the UN. When he pushed himself to the front of pictures, pushing others out of the way. When he was the only world leader to skip the Normandy Memorial because of rain. When the other world leaders walked the streets of Italy and he rode behind them. Cringeworthy.
Biden does much better, and also seems like the kind of person you would like for a friend--not the kind of person you'd hide behind plants to avoid at a social occasion.

Bernie Sanders went on ABC Nationally and criticized Biden for going to Saudi Arabia. I can assure you, that on a Sunday ABC showing, more people saw Bernie criticize Biden than the total viewership of the "View" during a typical week.

Biden shakes the hands of ghosts, yet fist bumps dignitaries of a Middle East power such as Saudi Arabia. He shook every hand of everyone in Israel, then insults the Saudi's by fist bumps.
Then acts insulted himself when the press asked about his fist bumps in Saudi.

Trump would stand and answer question after question of the media. Biden can't answer any off the cuff questions without it being on his "Que Card" No one is being fooled by this fraud any longer. Maybe he operates better from his bunker. He certainly fails miserably in the stage across the street in the "Make believe Oval Office." As he fails on the World Stage any time they let him out of his cage.

"Seems like the kind of guy you would like to have for a friend." My dog does a far better job.

Biden is not respected on the world stage. He shot his entire Presidency by his actions in Afghanistan. The entire word watched every minute of his failure in action immediately and has known since that time exactly what to expect from this Administration. Nothing, do not expect the Biden Administration to be counted on. In the backdrop Biden is criticized as being weak and ineffective.

Simply put ....the trip was meant to obtain more oil production from Saudi Arabia. He failed on that mission just as he failed during his half hearted "Human Rights" topic.

The trip was an absolute failure.

I never heard Trump answer a question by answering it. Putdowns? Name calling? Insults? Those aren't answers.

Neither is storming off the podium in a huff.

When he'd had it he'd always seek out a spokesmodel. Their main qualification seemed to be their looks. They'd ask a softball question couched in flattery, and he would answer his one and only question of the conference.

Please, that's the NYC speaking and not based on reality at all. I'd take Trump in his worst days compared to mindless man shaking hands with ghosts and simply walking away from the podium because the question and answer isn't on his list and he can't deal with it.

You grew up in the suburbs of NYC. Pity ...... i grew up across this country including Hawaii and Japan. I've seen and been a part of every portion of this country. I've worked in every corner of Canada. You have one view and I have a combination of culture and value system of the US. We are vastly different. My view of NYC from the time I lived in Syracuse? The most bigoted, racist, narrow minded group of people in the US. Unfortunately, I've never to Rhode Island, my mind might get changed.

From what has been said according to this wasted worthless trip. There is this perception that when an American walks into the room of a foreign country, they snap to because it's an American. That's the "Ugly American" stance and it was on full display during this wasted trip to beg for oil. Saudi Arabia doesn't care about what Americans or the world think about their Human Rights.
Wasted time and worthless trip. If the Biden Administration were straight with America, they wouldn't be selling Strategic Reserve oil to China.

Like I said earlier. Biden destroyed his legacy as a President when he demanded the withdrawal from Afghanistan and created chaos. The entire world saw that and most of our allies now lack any respect for this President because of the stupidity of his method in walking out.

Defending the indefensible is not what the Population of this country wants from the White House.
Biden is beyond humor at this stage and it grows worse at every turn.
