Without knowing what the symbol was, I am not sure how you expect us to comment. What was the symbol? Even more important perhaps are the words this artist sings; are they biblical?

Not everything that claims to be Christian is Christian. Just b/c the song is labeled a Christian song, it doesn't mean it's a Christian song.

Some Christian artists have good lyrics but the song doesn't really sound Christian
Some Christian artists have bad lyrics & the song doesn't sound Christian

Pay more attention to the words then who the singer is. The singer is just a mouthpiece
