Well, considering it's been in the top ten DVD sales for about six weeks now should speak volumes that more & more people are discovering this "gem" of a movie & adding it to their collections. (We did ). Many of us are appreciating its non-swearing, non-sexually-suggestive "simple" humor & incredible creativity.

When I first watched it with my 13-year-old, I thought the movie was REALLY stupid & boring....but then it grows on you. I can understand those who didn't want to give it another chance & wrote it off. However, I ended up LOVING it & have now seen the thing FOUR times!!! It's even funnier when you watch it a second time....or third....or.....

P.S. I loved the music, also, and am planning on getting the soundtrack, too.
"Forever Young" by Alphaville was one of my favorite songs in high school, waaaay back when. "The Promise" by When in Rome??? Ahhhh, those were the days. And of course, we can't forget "Jamiroquai" - the song for the "talent" portion of the debates....

I did not like Napoleon Dynomite that much, all just because it is overly quoted by everybody in the world! Lol, other than that, the movie itself was OK.

I know what you mean by it being overly quoted; it seems like EVERYBODY is telling Tina to eat her food. I saw it in theatres when virtually no one knew it existed (and no one could over-quote it), and it was hysterical.

gosh how can anybody not like this movie it was sweet it was awesome it had skill,no point lots of comedy and tiny little seahorses. oh yah how do you ''build'' a cake???

I spent like three hours shading the upper lip.

You know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bo staff.

I came to realize why girls didn't like me much in highschool days, it was because I had no skills, skills like hacking, nunchuk or bo skills!! Napolean was right!!

I didn't find it hilarious, but it was funny, and the lack of plot was pulled off very well. The characters (ND) are too great. I think I look like napoleon because I wear glasses (not his type), I have curly afro, and I have a similar clothing style.
