CF's new rule appears to have caused a witch hunt.

These loving and stellar Christians have succeeded in having The Mormon, Unitarian, and JW message board shut down.

The people behind the new rules consider Adventism to be a "cult" and these people will more than likely try to shut your board down sometime in the future.

I'm not surprised about this announcement, but I am shocked that Lee and his board have done this thing. I understood when a certain person in this forum was actively promoting Wicca and satanism and got banned.

But just because other Christians interpret the bible is a way that others ( the majority) do not, should not be a prerequisite to banishment into the forbidden forumland.

Adventist accept the teachings of the Nicene Creed. They are solidly Trinitarian in belief. Their board should have no problem. I am not an Adventist, but have a good friend who is.

The issue is not the Trinity, of course that is being thrown in to "legitimize" this witch hunt.

The issue is, to streamline CF and create an atmosphere where only one view is accepted, an Evangelical ultra right wing point of view. Sort of like a "Family Research Council" type of atmosphere. The Evangelicals do view Adventism, JW, and The Mormons as a "cult".

Of course people like Hank Hannagraph have lessened up on the cult montra of Adventists and focused on attacking Mormons and JW's but there are plenty who believe like Hank and label Adventism a cult.

I look at it this way. God is in control of everything. And if it's His will that the SDA forum be snuffed out--then He knows best. And maybe it would be best.

No, the issue is actually the Trinity. Regardless of some of the issues that most folks think that the SDAs have Trinitarian theology and a proper Christology generally aren't issues that are brought up.

This is opposed, of course, to the Mormon religion which has an entirely inappropriate view of the Holy Trinty. You're trying to lump too many "cults" together.
