Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

Considered by many to be a WoW "killer" this game seems to be shaping up nicely. I personally applied for the BETA testing and am stilling waiting a response, I haven't been denied nor accepted yet. Discuss your thoughts:

Huge fan of 40k. Not so much Fantasy, but I still love it.

Definately gonna play WAR, but didn't bother with WoW.

Still, I reckon a 40k MMORPG would be much better. Imagine starting off as a scout or a cultist and working your way up to captain, or champion! Yoiu'd get awards like the Crux Terminatus and be permitted to wear terminator armour.

Hope they make one, if WAR goes well. I'd like to hope I was supporting that possibility by playing WAR when it's released.

It won't be a "WOW Killer". It's published by EA, and if you have any idea about EA's history with MMOs, you know it's not very good. The actual interface for WHO has been in use for over a year in Ultima Online since Mythic took over development for it and starting using it as the updated Ultima Online Kingdom Reborn client. No one has been impressed with it as it's very buggy, at least with UO. The actual game itself looks disappointing coming from a Warhammer fan buch like D&D Online was. Being that it's EA, I don't give it much hope for a future.

Wait for Darkfall.

Should be lots of silly fun! Get away from the Serious Bizzness that is Warcraft.
