CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

That's a bit far for me...and I already know some east coast swing & west coast swing.

i just want people to be aware of it. and trust me, until you have done an actual workshop you don't know anything. priavte lessons last an hour, maybe 2 depending on what you are paying for. you might even have 3 or 4 nights of swing clubs you can attend. but NOTHING can prepare you for 4 solid days of dancing except to just go do it. the people attending this particular camp will be dancing from thursday night until early monday morning, either in lessons or at a dancehall with a DJ or live band.
we have people coming from as far away as Japan, and from a little further north than your neck of the woods (if that Indy icon means Indiana), lots from Minnesota. speaking of Minnesota, don't miss Showdown in September! if you want to go to THE dance camp, that's Camp Hollywood in late July in Los Angeles, CA. these people don't even go to sleep between dances...
