Well it is one thing now days that shaved heads are more accepted. I would probably had done do already but I am pretty fair skinned. I shaved once in basic training (I'm in military) it was ok but prefer myself with hair certainly.

I just thought of something. (Haven't read all the posts) - but the apostle Paul's real name was 'Saul'.
People called him Paul, which means little or small.

Elisha was bald.


Imagine being too worried to have an elisha or a paul for a son!

Napolean, some handsome hunkster with no hair.

Who you are counts more for what you produce. (And even then....)

Let God choose. He knows better then we do.

There's more to Saul/Paul than that, but the names do give clues. Look up "Saul" in Hebrew - it has the exact same spelling as another word that might surprise you.

A) The fact that you're short and balding at a young age does not necessarily mean that you'll have short children or a son that will also go bald early in his life.

B) Being short and balding early in life are NOT 'bad' genes.

C) There is zero assurance that if you adopt your adoptive child will not grow to be a short person or one that balds early in their life. Lol. ...So you better think hard on that one. Get stuck with a short, balding offspring who is biologically yours, or one that is adopted. Hmmm...


Cellulite is genetic and I have plenty of the lovely dimples. Yippee. ...But who cares? There's basically nothing I can do about it, so I might as well get over it. And I have. I'm also pigeon-toed, which is genetic as well. Again, nothing I can do about. I have a cousin who is about 5'7'' (maybe a tad shorter), 22 years old, and he's already greying, like...I'm talking he'll probably be looking like Steve Martin when he's 35. I have another cousin who is about 5'3''...he's married with three children.

Nobody really cares if you're 5'7'' and balding, dude. Trust me. And to go so far as to not want children because of it? Seriously, you're over thinking this.

Its good to be concerned about your future kids. But even if they are tall and with a full head of hair you will not be able to protect them from the evil out there in the world. We all have to endure hardships and through our faith in Jesus our reward is an eternal life with him. You want to have children and that's a good thing.

I'm not much over 5 foot. I don't know how tall my husband is but I would have married him no matter what height he was. And he is bald, I tell him to 'embrace your baldness!'. He thinks that's funny. We all have to embrace the things about our looks and personality that the world tells us are undesirable. But its who we are, and how we have been made, embrace it. The story about how David was chosen by God even though he was the smallest out of his brothers is a good example of how different God's ways are to the worlds ways.

Well these are thoughts, IRL I am not appearing to be obsessive about my genetics..it is just an internal thing. Believe me I would not bring this up with a girl I like lol, I know how to put my best foot foward. Besides this is nothing about being into my own looks, it is about missing out on things that most men have. Men are suppose to be tall and have hair. Imagine being fresh out of Highschool and having your hair fallout, I have talked with many other friends about this and they all told me it would be a nightmare to lose their hair at such a young age.When I think of someone into their looks, I think of a guy spending 2 hours getting hair geld up and trying on 15 different outfits before going out...not someone who feels down about loseing a part of their appearance that they once had. For the most part men don't deal with hairloss until they are in thier 40's. Now the height thing never even bothers me until I started loseing my hair..so yeah that is how it is..I am sure there are things you are insecure about.

Well except me because I'm so perfectly perfect. :3 lol Jk I'm far from it just like everyone else, in my opinion there is no such thing as perfect. if there was then it would be really boring anyways.
