I went back a few pages and have not found one for people who have been on a Walk to Emmaus. How many out there have been on a Walk? For those who don't know what a Walk to Emmaus is, you can go to upperroom.org.

Walk to Emmaus is a 3 day "retreat", with fifteen talks by lay and clergy on the themes of God's grace, discipleship, and what the church needs to be doing. The whole retreat is bathed in prayer, and you can feel those prayers. The "Emmaus community" is made up of those who have attended an Emmaus Walk. An Emmaus Walk begins Thursday evening and ends Sunday evening. Men and women attend separate weekends.

This weekend changed my life and my walk with God in a great way.. any others out there?? Melissa

Hello Godismyabba. I was interested to read your post. I think any walk like the two on the Emmaus road when Jesus drew near would be wonderful.

You have that experience and you have a story of blessing and change. If you write it I would be glad to read it. I am in the UK and you the USA that would be some walk! So Hello and love in Jesus name.. Jayh.

De Colores! I went on my walk in 2005 through the Hoosier Hills Emmaus community in Indiana.

I had gone to church for about a year before going on my walk and that is what let me to truly give my life to Christ. i was re-baptised and became a Christian as opposed to a Chreaster (Go to church only on Christmas and Easter)
