Walk The Line

I just want to say that if you want to see an extremely good movie, go see this one. I just got out of the theater and it has moved me quite a bit. Although I wouldn't say it's a Best Picture of the year, because it follows the routine Biopic formula, it is worth it to see the performances.

Joaquin Phoenix was absolutely amazing and if he does not win Best Actor at the Oscars, it will be a travesty. He performs all of the songs, which is amazing because he hasn't sang ever before doing this movie. If I hadn't known beforehand, I would have thought they were actually playing Johnny Cash's recordings and having him Lip Sync them.

Johnny Cash is sort of my idol in a way. Were I a better guitar player and singer, I would like to be like him musically. So maybe I am a little biased, or maybe I should be more critical. But I am not. This was a good movie and I recommend anyone who likes Oscar movies to check this one out.

I just saw the movie this afternoon.

It is outstanding. He really captures the desperation of JR's addiction.

And God bless Reese Witherspoon. What a terrific job she did.

I saw Walk The Line with my family 3 days ago. It's a very well done film, and I reccomend everyone to watch this movie.

It looks good... I'll probably wait until it comes out on DVD... that's what I usually do.

We saw Walk the Line last weekend and I was surprised at how well Reese Witherspoon played June Carter... excellent.. and the woman who played Cash's first wife... Ginnifer Goodwin gave a great performance also. Strictly formula presentation for performer bio.. but still greatly executed.
