It is very hard to wait and rely on Jesus. I have struggles waiting too. I pray that God will comfort and bless you. Also, by the way, the flower that is your avatar is very pretty.

Number 1 make sure that which you are praying for is the will of God. 2nd you just have to keep your faith in Christ and what he did for you at the cross. Jesus not only died for your sins but he also died for your daily needs as a Christian. He died that you may knock at his door and receive all the blessings you want and need in your life. Sometimes God doesn't answer right away because he's either testing your faith or he's already putting things in motion to bring about your request and it might take some time. Sometimes the evil one will hinder your prayers and try to stop them in order to weaken your faith don't let him whisper to you and say that God doesn't hear you and that he won't answer. And finally, give him praise and worship showing that no matter how long it will take that you have faith that it will come whatever you are asking for. Even if you don't have it right now thank God for it because you know deep down in your heart that God's words never lie and that as long as what you are praying for is in his will he will answer. God wants to see a tenacity and relentlessness in our faith believing in him and asking him no matter what. And displaying that kind of faith pleases him.

When we are waiting for something it can seem like time has slowed down. I find it useful to remind myself as often as necessary that every minute, hour and day is part of God's divine arrangement, which always results in a perfect outcome, according to His will.

I don't wait well...I am impatient and ungrateful much of the time. Only through prayer, meditation, and stilling my heart to hear Him am I able to get past that. But it is always a struggle...

You 'feel' God has told you he loves you!
Have you no understanding of what crucifixion means? You do know that Jesus died that you might have eternal life.
What greater statement that someone loves you do you want?

Whether God blesses you or does not bless you has nothing to do with the fact that God's love for you has no earthly means of being measured. His love for you is so vast it cannot be calculate or quantified as it is a supernatural love that is greater than the universe.

How can you know this? Simple Jesus came and lived, died and rose only for you.

As a woman I totally 'get' or 'feel' where Kitty is coming from in her post! Women are more 'feeling' than 'knowledge' based, let me assure you of that I 'feel sure' that women enjoy a different connection with Lord Jesus Christ than our Christian brothers do.

It was thrust upon me early in life, this learning to wait....my family was very poor and didn't have a car.
Even when grown and had a job, I had to sometimes wait an hour
to three hours for my ride to pick me up because they usually worked overtime
at their job.
I got my first car during my mid-twenties and it was a "lemon"...so back
to waiting for it to get fixed...waiting for my ride to/from work again
and again.
It was during all this waiting that I was talking to the Lord about things that be
going on in my life and asking Him to help me press on during so many hardships
and constant disappointments. The jaws of poverty just seemed to be hanging
on to me so strongly...two steps forward, three steps back was the theme in my
life for so many, many years...decades actually.
But through it all I learnt that the Lord is with me and His Word kept me encouraged to keeping going in the midst of those storms going on in my life.
Those storms still happen but they can't kill the joy of the Lord, I can
be content in all situations...rich/poor, good times/bad times, in sickness/
an in health.
Keep abiding in the Lord and in His Word no matter what...I know it's not easy
and it ain't without doubts and fears, but you hold fast to Jesus and continue
walking in the faith.

And what do you 'feel' is more important.
A false 'feeling' that one is not loved or a true fact that shows that one is loved and how do you determine which is correct, the 'feeling' or the facts.

I'm a guy, so can't speak from the female perspective, but I would say this isn't an either-or situation. The knowledge of the fact of God's love for us is absolutely reassuring and real and a comfort in the times when we don't necessarily feel it...but God created us with emotions, and the reassurance we get when He lets us feel it is also a cause for joy. There is a place and time for both reason and emotion, and we are not whole without both...but emotion without reason, and reason without emotion, are both dangerous masters. In the former, there is wishful thinking without basis in reality, while in the latter we risk losing compassion and empathy.

I totally agree. I stress reason simple because the femail post here stress 'feeling' so strongly and show no sign ( to me ) of using reason in determining their posts.
