Thank you for these facts.
Clearly, they support what many of us have believed all along....the US Government either allowed or worse even is responsible for the tragedy on 9/11.
Perhaps some of our "friends" here will reconsider their foolish acceptance of the US Government's lies about 9/11.
See it's really simple: If they will lie about something of this magnitude....well, what won't they lie about.

The NSA intercepts messages everyday about threats. If 99% of them were real, we'd all be dead by now.

They may have, but airport security was nothing prior to 9/11 and isn't that much now.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for getting ALL of the information, but we need something with more teeth than this. I simply can't believe that anyone in the admin "allowed" this to happen. If they did, I will personally lead the storming of the White House, but I'm not all concerned I'll have to fulfill that.

I think one thing people are missing is 9/11 transcends the Bush and Clinton Administrations. Many things regarding 9/11 happened under Clinton's watch as well.

For instance, the testimony of the six aircraft controllers, which was destroyed by their supervisor after determining it was illegally taken doesn't seem all that relevent. Heck, I think we'd all like it if people in the Bush administration actually did stuff like follow the law when it came to taking evidence. All six have stated that nothing was materially different on the tapes then in their later testimony.

Seperating the wheat from the chaff allows discussion of the points. The only reason I can see to try and keep the list of disparate, unconnected points together as a lump group is to try and use a herd effect to disguise the weakness of the points.

It's very, very, very hard to read all the relevent info and not come to some simple conclusions from the evidence available.

We've been down this street. Care to pick the three most convincing pieces of evidence? I'll happily demonstrate how they're not that convincing at all. Or is it some grand overall picture you can only reach by reading lots and lots of sketchy, poorly supported evidence?

I did that for an entire thread. All that happened was that new stories and claims were made to replace the disproved ones, and no acknowledgement of the fact that they were refuted.

Why was the United States preparing for an invasion against Afghanistan in July before Sept. 11th? The military action was to go foreward in October. A former Pakistani Foreign Secretary informed the BBC of these plans,

"He said that he was in no doubt that after the World Trade Center bombings this pre-existing US plan had been built upon and would be implemented within two or three weeks."

I'm sure it's just a coincidence, right?

To me the most damning evidence of a conspiracy is the fact that President Bush waited a half hour before devoting his attention to the emergency. Even if you or I were President at the time, I'm sure we would have dropped everything and gone into crisis mode. After all, the Pentagon had not been hit....there was plenty for the President to do. His inaction is extremely suspicious to me.

Because he wasn't in danger because he wasn't a viable target. It's hard to plan exactly where the President will be five years from now on this specific day at this specific time. That's why they had planned to hit the White House. It was the best chance to hit him, and it's also symbolic.

The point was that the Bush administration said that no part of the government could imagine what happened on 9/11, they lied.

You need to run the worst case scenarios to see what the possible damage is. No part of the government could realistically think that something on that scale would actually occur.

CIA Director George Tenet declared the first impact a deliberate attack and yet the secret service did nothing.

No, actually its not a coincidence. Bin Laden has been conducting military operations against the US for a long time. He bombed the trade center in '93, and he bombed the USS Cole, to name the two most notorious incidents before 2001. I could also mention the african embassy bombings (200-300 dead, 5000 injured), and have possibly been involved with various hotel bombings, and the helicoptor shot down in Somalia. Overall, he has been a very sharp thorn even before 9/11.

Is it suspicious that we wanted the guy dead? And we wanted the government that eagerly supported him ousted? The Al Qaeda was (and probably still is) the largest terrorist organization in the world. Might we have wanted to destroy them?

Moreover, the knowledge that Osama might be forced to go into hiding by an invasion probably set his timetable. He had to know his communication lines would be temporarily or permanently disabled by the attack, and probably planned accordingly.

You don't realize the difficulty of coordinating an attack years in advance and having a major bit of information missing until three days before the event is supposed to take place. Anyways, hitting the White House is just about as powerful a move as hitting the President, except the White House doesn't move.

Like I said, that is incredibly vague. Who? ("Who" was covered just a little, but I'm sure there are thousands of potential threats.) What? Where? When?
